Holiday Inn Winchester

Set back against the considerable charm of Morn Hill, the all new Holiday Inn hotel Winchester will nestle in the surrounding chalky hills as if it has always been there. Located just 2 miles from the heart of the historic city of Winchester the hotel is easily reached from the M3 motorway and is a mere 15 miles from Southampton airport.

Sanguine Hospitality originally purchased the Morn Hill site with Shore capital and Downing Corporate Finance in February 2008. Sanguine Hospitality then negotiated planning with Winchester County Council to construct a 141 bedroom Holiday Inn. The hotel was designed to the last detail, and built with Morgan Ashurst's Fareham office.

On Monday 15th February 2010 Sanguine Hospitality successfully opened the first New generation Holiday Inn in the UK. Sanguine Hospitality have since sold the hotel as a trading business to an offshore Jersey Trust.
